Artist Bio

Ellie won a scholarship to Aylesbury Music Centre in 1993 studying French Horn, Piano and Orchestral Percussion. In 2000 she gained a place at Trinity Music College studying French Horn and piano. Developing an interest in Music Tech, she transferred to City University to complete a Music degree that covered aspects of Sound as well as Music.

Whilst studying at City University Ellie started to experiment with producing and recording music. She also learned to play Gamelan and continued her piano lessons at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. After graduating from university Ellie divided her time between playing music and training to be a Live Sound Engineer in venues for bands and artists.

After touring the world as a sound engineer, Ellie realised that she was missing something from her life and started to write music again. Ellie reduced her touring work and gave herself time to produce 3 EP’s and her debut album “Twelve” (2017). This album was nominated Best Concept Album (2018 – Interactive Media Awards).

Ellie brought together a band with whom she has performed since 2016 at various London venues and at Lechlade and Daxtonbury Festivals.

In May 2022, Ellie supported Avawaves on their recent tour of the UK
